16.05.2015 – Migration Diary

68th day was hot and affected by high winds. Although the wind, White Storks passed with good numbers. Honey Buzzard passed not much but regularly. Interestingly; today any Sparrowhawk wasn’t recorded today, however; the number of Levant Sparrowhawk was over the normal numbers of spring season. A Golden Eagle was recorded! The total number was about 1,000 and the species are White Stork, Honey Buzzard, Lesser Spotted Eagle, Levant Sparrowhawk, Common Buzzard, Black Stork, Booted Eagle, Hobby, Black Kite, Marsh Harrier, Short-toed Snake Eagle, Kestrel and Golden Eagle.
