30.03.2015 – Migration Diary

21th day started with chilly and foggy weather, ended up with warm and sunny weather. The number is not so high, but today is one of the best days for this study. Approximately 3,000 birds,17 different species are counted. Today’s birds are respectively White Stork, Lesser Spotted Eagle, Common Buzzard, Sparrowhawk, Short-toed Snake Eagle, Black Kite, Greateer Spotted Eagle, Marsh Harrier, Black Stork, Booted Eagle, Goshawk, Griffon Vulture, Steppe Eagle, Pallid Harrier, Eurasian Hobby and Hen Harrier. The number of Greater Spotted Eagle was very high; probably, end of this study the total numbeer of Greater Spotted Eagle will be very surprising. The irregular movement that is caused by rain will be continue tomorrow, as I estimate.
