02.04.2015 – Migration Diary

24th day was cold and overcast until midday; after midday, it was sunny and warm. After 15:00, the movement decreased. The total number is about 5,000 and includes White Stork, Common Buzzard, Black Stork, Lesser Spotted Eagle, Sparrowhawk, Marsh Harrier, Black Kite, Short-toed Snake Eagle, Hen Harrier, Kestrel, Greater Spotted Eagle, Osprey, Pallid Harrier, Montagu’s Harrier and Booted Eagle. The lesser passing at the evening tell us that tomorrow morning the passing will continue similar. In fact, the number of Lesser Spotted Eagle hasn’t increased much that I expected yet. Of course, last days the birds could be drifted from my view by high wind therefore saying something about the estimation for tomorrow is very difficult.
