05.04.2015 – Migration Diary

27th day was chilly and muggy. During whole day, the migrants passed high and the passing extended over the evening. Total number of today’s birds that involve mostly White Stork is about 10,000. There was slump in the number of Lesser Spotted Eagles. In the coming days – also could be 8-10 days later – the second wave of raise for Lesser Spotted Eagle will occur. Today’s species respectively are White Stork, Common Buzzard, Lesser Spotted Eagle, Sparrowhawk, Booted Eagle, Black Stork, Short-toed Snake Eagle, Black Kite, Marsh Harrier, Hen Harrier, Kestrel, Griffon Vulture and Steppe Eagle. The passing that continued until the evening refer that tomorrow will be colourful day in term of migration, however; estimating after days is very difficult.
