16.04.2015 – Migration Diary

38th day was very good in terms of the weather conditions, the mist that occured in early morning burned in afternoon. The expected movement of Lesser Spotted Eagles started today and will probobly continue tomorrow. The total number from today was approximately 3,000, today was one of the days that comprise important diversity. The species are respectively White Stork, Lesser Spotted Eagle, Common Buzzard, Sparrowhawk, Booted Eagle, Black Stork, Short-toed Snake Eagle, Black Kite, Marsh Harrier, Steppe Eagle, Kestrel, Imperial Eagle, Greater Spotted Eagle, Montagu’s Harrier, Pallid Harrier, Osprey and Long-legged Buzzard. The late Lesser Spotted Eagles and other raptors are continued to soar at the Bosphorus in the upcoming days as I estimate.
