17.04.2015 – Migration Diary

39th day was affected by high southwester; although this, the number was not bad. Total number is about 2,000. The number of White Storks that are drifted by southern probobly was less. Thee late Lesser Spotted Eagles continue to pass. The migrant swallows’ number was pretty much. The species are respectively Lesser Spotted Eagle, Common Buzzard, White Stork, Sparrowhawk, Booted Eagle, Black Stork, Montagu’s Harrier, Short-toed Snake Eagle, Kestrel, Hobby, Steppe Eagle, Greater Spotted Eagle, Osprey, Black Kite and Marsh Harrier. Southwester will influence to Istanbul tomorrow, like today. The activity will be similar with today, as I estimate.
