18.04.2015 – Migration Diary

40th day was windy, like yesterday therefore the big groups are drifted out of my view by high southwester. Swallows continue their journey with big numbers. The total number from todaay was about 2,000 and also the diversity was not good because of high wind. The species were respectively White Stork, Common Buzzard, Lesser Spotted Eagle, Sparrowhawk, Black Stork, Booted Eagle, Black Kite, Short-toed Snake Eagle, Kestrel and Marsh Harrier. As I estimate, tomorrow the passing will be continue despite of the expected rain.
