25.04.2015 – Migration Diary

The weather of 47th day was mostly hotter than previous days, but sometimes warm. Between 17:00 – 18:00, the winter was came again. In terms of diversity, today is one of the best days for this spring. Th number of the Honey Buzzard start to increase, and the coming days this increasement wil be more obvious. The Lesser Spotted Eagles reached one of the highest number today, and also White Storks are still passing with high numbers. Unlike them, the number of Common Buzzard still continue to tend to decrease. The total number was about 4,000, the species were respectively White Stork, Lesser Spotted Eagle, Common Buzzard, Sparrowhawk, Booted Eagle, Black Stork, Greater Spotted Eagle, Honey Buzzard, Black Kite, Hobby, Egyptian Vulture, Short-toed Snake Eagle, Griffon Vulture, Pallid Harrier, Goshawk and Kestrel. As I expected, tomorrow the passing will be similar with today. ( The photos of Greater Spotted Eagle are from different individuals. )
